The Warriors of Clinton are the Section III Division II hockey champions. They beat New Hartford 6-1 in front of a ovedrflow crowd at the Clinton Arena.
In the third period Jordan Hobaica got his second goal of the game on a power play at 5:44 of the third. Late in the period, Kyle Foley got his second goal of tghe game on a wrap arround. The Spartans couldn't get anything going. They had several power play opportunities but the Warriors bottled them up a few steps over the blue line and were not threatened.

Thanks Tom for answering my earlier questions on the RFA-NH tilt.
Congratulations to both the Warriors and the Spartans on last night's game.
Despite the lopsided score (I called a 4-1 CCS win on these boards previously), both teams conducted themselves as sportsmen and played the game tough but clean as it should be played.
Clinton and New Hartford as schools and communities certainly have a lot to be proud of.
If it's any consolation to NH, the Spartans certainly would've won the title had the opponent been anyone other than Clinton. NH is an excellent hockey team; Clinton is simply outstanding.
Clinton now takes on Queensbury, 5-3 winners over Burnt Hills/Scotia in the Section II game today. I imagine the game will be in Glenns Falls but there's no word yet on the time.
I'll predict Clinton, 5-1, over Queensbury and another trip to the Utica Aud.
